This summer shorts sewing pattern requires a regular sewing machine. You will also need 2" or 5 cm wide elastic for waistband. Use non stretch medium to lightweight fabric like cotton, linen or various polyester blends. You can even choose sheer fabrics to make a beach shorts:)
